Store Registration Preparation & Process
This tutorial is based on Ozon's 2026 latest merchant rules for Chinese sellers. It walks through the full process from document preparation to store activation, helping you pass the review in one go and avoid common pitfalls.
1. Core Preparation Before Registration
1.1 Who Can Register
For Ozon cross-border stores (Chinese sellers), only enterprise entities are currently accepted. Individual businesses and personal ID registrations are usually rejected. Prepare the following:
- Mainland China limited liability company business license, or Hong Kong company registration certificate
- Business license status is normal, with no operating abnormalities or administrative penalties
- Business scope includes keywords such as sales, retail, trade, e-commerce, import and export of goods
- Business license valid for at least 6 more months
Business Scope Pitfall
Pure technical consulting, service, or R&D licenses are easily judged as "business scope mismatch." It is recommended to consult an account manager first or switch to a different entity.

How Many Stores Can One License Open
2026 rule: a single business license can register up to 10 Ozon cross-border stores. New sellers are advised to get the first store running smoothly before considering a store matrix.
2. Registration Process (Desktop)
2.1 Access the Official Entry Point
Open the Ozon Global seller official website: https://seller.ozon.ru
Click "Стать продавцом / Become a seller" in the upper right corner to start registration.
2.2 Create an Ozon ID
- Select registration country: China. Once selected incorrectly, it cannot be changed.
- Enter mobile number and receive SMS verification code.
- Enter email and receive email verification code.
- Set password and complete Ozon ID creation.
Country Selection Cannot Be Changed
Multiple sellers have reported: if country/region is mistakenly selected as Kazakhstan or Russia, you can only re-register with a new email. Please be sure to select China.
2.3 Fill in Enterprise Information

2.4 Submit KYC Review
Upload documents: business license, front and back of legal person ID, business license translation.
- Format: JPG / PNG / PDF
- Single file ≤ 32MB
- 2026 standard review cycle: 3-5 business days, fastest 1-2 days if documents are standardized
Review results will be sent to the registered email; remember to check the spam folder.
3. Review Passed & Activation
3.1 Sign Electronic Contract
After receiving the review approval email, log in to the seller backend, read and sign the Ozon cross-border seller cooperation agreement online. The store is officially activated after signing.
3.2 Bind Collection Account
Go to "Finance → Payment Methods" and bind a LianLian Global / PingPong / GEP enterprise account.
Account Frozen Without Payment Method
Failure to bind a payment method within 30 days may result in account freezing and inability to list products.
3.3 Set Logistics Mode
New sellers are advised to start with rFBS (cross-border self-shipping) for product testing, then consider FBP (border front warehouse) after orders stabilize.
Cross-border vs Local Store
- Cross-border store: Chinese seller entity, only supports rFBS and FBP shipping modes
- Local store: Russian entity, supports FBO and FBS and more modes
4. Common Review Rejection Reasons
